Macedon and Mt. Macedon Tourism

Autumn Days

One thing I just love is the Macedon Ranges in Autumn. The days are sunny, and the nights are cool. It’s the perfect time to do a winery hop and try some of the truly fabulous Pinot Noir’s that the region is so famous for.

It’s also a great time to take a drive to Mount Macedon and see the autumn colour of the trees in full swing. Stunning times, and when the leaves have finally fallen, there is something about living your inner child and swooshing your shoes through the leaves! Woodend and Lancefield also have beautiful lined streets with stunning European trees in full colour too.

Combine this with a hot chocolate from the Mount Macedon Trading Post and you can’t go wrong.
